Breakdown Service

I usually use the weekend to explore the area a bit. Often the rivers or ponds are reddish brown from sand. But off the road there are also really beautiful ponds with clear water. Next to them are birds, dragonflies and butterflies that I have never seen before. It’s nice to sit down and just watch nature.
On the way back I see someone pushing his TuckTuck. He was two heads shorter than me and didn’t look very strong. He had to push his vehicle up the mountain. The guy looked like he was about to collapse and I felt really sorry for him. So I just asked him if I should help him push. He looks at me, but accepts my offer with thanks. The parts weigh almost nothing, so it wasn’t as strenuous as it looked. After 200 metres I remembered where he was going, not that I should push him home. So I asked him how much further he had to go.
His problem was that he was out of petrol and wanted to go to the next petrol station.
The petrol station was just around the corner after another 100 metres. But neither of us made it to the petrol pump, the ramp was simply too steep and the ground too sandy. No chance, we couldn’t get up there without a proper grip under our feet.
But it was definitely close enough to be able to refuel. He thanked me a thousand times and I continued on my way home.
Just before I got to the guesthouse he came by and wanted to give me a lift. It was only a short distance, but no chance I had to get in. The woman on the back seat made some room and I joined her. They are not as uncomfortable as they look. If you want to go somewhere quickly, this is a real alternative.
