Resümee

Ghana is a wonderful country with wonderful people living there.
If you can get involved with your country, its people and its culture, you will get to know a country and its people in 8 weeks in a way that you can never do in a holiday.
In Germany, we live in a bubble of prosperity and have totally lost sight of many poor regions in the world. Here we argue about seemingly important problems that are totally irrelevant to people in other parts of the world, because they have to deal with the satisfaction of basic needs on a daily basis. These people are happy in their world even without our luxuries.
In any case, it has opened my eyes again to what is really important.
It was a really exhausting time.
I was able to help people and at least pass on some of my knowledge and experience. I was able to fulfil the client’s assignment and expectations.
I would do it again, even if I was better prepared.
This was definitely not my last project, nor my last assignment abroad.
